- [Instructor] Share stories about automation with the rest of the organization or company. Chances are not everyone will be familiar with test automation. In that case, it's beneficial to discuss what problem automation intends to solve. Also highlight the value of automation so that it's relevant to others. Tests can tell a compelling story about the state of an application. The best way to promote automation is to share wins with the rest of the organization. Share examples of things like how many bugs automation caught. A goal of automation is to help catch bugs quicker and ideally before release. Take note of which bugs were discovered from test automation. It can also be a good idea to share how many hours automation saved from manually testing a feature. A good sign of this is having higher productivity and being able to spend less time on each release because more of the checks are automated. In terms of team…
