Find members of a group

The datasets use summarize and Tableau can be quite large. If you want to add members to a group but don't want to waste the time scrolling through all the values in a dimension, you can use the group dialog boxes. Find capability to identify the values you want to add. And in this movie, I will show you how to do that. My sample file is 07_03_Add Using Find and you can find that in the Chapter_07 folder of the exercise files collection. This workbook contains a single worksheet, and on it I have a text table that lists sales region and then the number of sales per region. I can create a group using find based on sales region by going over to the sidebar and then right clicking the sales region groups pill, pointing to create and then clicking group. Doing so, displays the create group dialog box. The first thing I'll do is change the field name from sales region group. I'll highlight that and I will change it to southern regions.
