- I'm sure many of you will have experienced the conflict between needing to deliver change versus keeping stable business operations. This is often what contributes to a lack of resources for projects and programs. Let's take a look at the typical challenges you'll face when resourcing your program, and how you can overcome these. The first challenge is knowing what resources you're going to need. To address this, during the definition phase, you'll create a program strategy which will define what resources you need, what skills they need, where you will source them from, and what procedures will be followed to manage them. Having a strategy that is considered early in the program is essential when you need to recruit and train people that will be involved in delivery.
