Adjusting saturation

- The next component of color is S for saturation. This is the intensity of the color. If you decrease it, saturation goes down. Boost it, and saturation goes up, adding more color to the scene. So, for example, let's start with this first image here, and really take a look. I'm going to come over to the blues, with the Targeted Adjustment tool, and choose Saturation. Make the blues richer. Tone it down. There's that transformation of blue light. We can really finesse that. Come over here and click. Well this is a combination of oranges and yellows working together. So that let me tone down the background there a little bit so it's not so rich. Click the red and bring that out, and notice how it's a combination of red and orange.
