I'm here with Dawn from More LPIC, and if you've been following along so far, you know that we're talking about Samba, and in this episode, we're going to talk about configuring shared files with Samba. So what's the 10,000 foot view of what we're going to talk about? - All right, well, we brought up a Samba server in a previous episode, but it's not actually doing any work yet, so we need to do something. And in this episode, we're going to see how to do that. We'll share out some home directories, printers, data folders, and just kind of look at some of the various other things that Samba is capable of, as long as we take the time to configure it.
