- [Instructor] Let's learn in this lesson how to convert text into lifelike speech using Amazon Polly. I just launched the AWS Console, and I'm in the dashboard of Amazon Polly. Let's start by clicking Try Polly. At the top, there are four different AI engines that you can use to convert the text into speech. For this demo, I will use a standard engine that produces natural sounding speech. As you see here, not all the engines are supported in every region. I'm in the Ohio region, and only standard engine is supported. In the Input Text area, let me paste a sample text that I would like to convert to speech. Under the Voice dropdown, you have the option to choose various personas, and I will stick to Joanna. - [Joanna] Hi, I am taking this LinkedIn course on AI. It is fantastic.
