Logging in as an enterprise user
- Previously, we showed how to log into a system as an individual user and working locally at that system. Now I want to show how to connect to a domain, connect in an enterprise setting as a user in Linux. So in this lab we're going to show how to connect a Linux system to a Free IPA domain. Free IPA is an open source software for directory services. It's very similar to Microsoft Active Directory, but it's designed to run on Linux and we'll add a Free IPA domain user into our client system and log in as that new user. So this lab gets a little bit more in depth and I'm just going to do this step-by-step. You can follow along and if you're interested in more about directory services, then check out my "Building Linux Servers" video. So let's get into this now.
