We're staying in our metal plate underscore 001.dwg file and in this particular video we're going to take a look at how we can place a gradient fill. So go to your layers panel, click on the flyer and select gradient fill this time as your current drafting layer. Now it's always good to have your gradient fills and your hatching on separate layers. Now you'll notice the gradient fill layer has the same color assigned to it as the hatching layer that we used in the previous video. Don't worry about the color of the layer for your gradient fills because your gradient fills are set up with independent colors within the gradient command. So let's see how that works. So again we're in the home tab on the ribbon, draw panel over here on the left, click on the flyout and select gradient.
