I've seen so many presentations go wrong 😅. I'm in tech, so I can fix most issues, but some presentations are 5/ 15 min so I don't even have time to fix things. Still, my advice is simple: ➡️ We are in 2025! If it's not confidential (and there’s no problem with copyright), share your slides & visuals online! This way, people can still view your visuals on their phones. ➡️ Keep a PDF version to read or refer to (or print it out if you’re at a conference without your PC). ➡️ Always prepare a version of your presentation without visuals. Skim through your presentation text and try to see if it makes sense on its own. ➡️ If something goes wrong, try joking about it and move on. It's not the end of the world.

People don’t really remember perfect slides or if tech failed. They remember how you made them feel and whether you kept them interested when things didn’t go the way you planned.
