Intention to translate Verifiable Credentials Data Model into Simplified Chinese (Authorized W3C Translation)

Dear Colleagues,


On behalf of National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China, I hereby notify W3C of our intention to become the Leading Translation Organization (LTO) for developing the Authorized Simplified Chinese Translation of the following W3C specification:

Understanding that the next version of W3C VC specification will be published soon, our plan is to translate both the existing v1.1 and the upcoming v2.0 <https://www.w3.org/TR/vc-data-model-2.0/>; of this specification, with the goal to keep a record of how this standard evolves from a research point of view. We believe this will be helpful for the local community interested in the development history of this technology.
