HubSpot Credits is a pay-as-you-scale model that allows you to access and pay for certain HubSpot usage-based features, such as Breeze Customer Agent and Breeze Intelligence. You only use credits when you perform an action that consumes them. You also have the ability to monitor your HubSpot Credits and scale your usage depending on your needs.
This article provides an overview of how HubSpot Credits work, including how they are allocated, tracked, and managed in your account.
Please note: starting on June 2, 2025, Breeze Intelligence Credits will transition to HubSpot Credits, and Customer Agent will begin consuming HubSpot Credits.
HubSpot Credits included in your subscription
Starting on June 2, 2025, all paying HubSpot customers on the seats-based pricing model will receive an allocation of HubSpot Credits in their account. The quantity of included HubSpot Credits varies based on your highest-level HubSpot subscription and are not additive if you have multiple HubSpot subscriptions. For example, if you’re subscribed to both Marketing Hub Professional and Sales Hub Enterprise, your highest-level product edition would be Enterprise.
The table below shows the included HubSpot Credits based on your subscription level:
Highest level of HubSpot subscription |
Included HubSpot Credits in subscription per month |
Starter | 500 |
Professional | 3,000 |
Enterprise | 5,000 |
In addition to the included HubSpot Credits (and any Breeze Intelligence Credits that may transition), you can buy additional HubSpot Credits as needed. Learn more about purchasing additional HubSpot Credits and auto-upgrades.
Features you can access with HubSpot Credits
The features you can access with HubSpot Credits depend on the highest-level product edition of your HubSpot subscription.
Please note: only Paid Seat and Partner Seat users can use HubSpot Credits. Free users and View-only Seat users cannot use HubSpot Credits. .

Manage HubSpot Credits
Key terms
- Monthly allocation: HubSpot Credits reset every month, aligned with your subscription start date.
- Rollovers: unused credits expire at the end of each usage period and do not roll over to the next month.
- Reset date: HubSpot Credits reset on the first day of your subscription month.
- Automatic upgrades: if you use all your monthly allocated, included HubSpot Credits, you’ll be prompted to purchase additional HubSpot Credits.
- If you choose not to buy additional credits after using all of your included monthly allocation, any usage-based features will pause (e.g. Customer Agent, Breeze Intelligence, etc.) until your next reset date or until you purchase additional credit capacity packs.
- After your initial purchase of additional HubSpot Credits capacity packs, if your usage later exceeds the total credits in your account, your account will automatically be upgraded to include additional HubSpot Credits that reflect your usage.
For example, if you're an Enterprise customer with an included monthly allotment of 5,000 HubSpot Credits, and you have purchased an additional 1,000 HubSpot Credits capacity pack, your plan has a total of 6,000 HubSpot Credits per month. If you use 6,500 HubSpot Credits in a usage cycle, an extra 1,000 HubSpot Credit pack will be automatically added to your subscription, increasing your monthly limit to 7,000 HubSpot Credits for the remainder of your contract.
- Purchase of additional credits: you can purchase additional HubSpot Credits capacity packs manually through your HubSpot account or with a sales rep. Additional credits are available immediately with prorated charges that align with your usage, for the remainder of your current billing period.
- Downgrades: you can remove added capacity packs at your next renewal by signing a new order form, and your downgrades take effect at the end of the current contractual commitment.
Track your credit usage
If you’re a Super Admin or Billing Admin, it’s recommended that you regularly monitor your HubSpot Credits usage. To review your credit usage:
- In your HubSpot account, click your account name in the top right, then click Account & Billing.
- Click the Usage & Limits tab.
- In the left sidebar menu click HubSpot Credits.
On the Usage & Limits tab for HubSpot Credits, you can view the following:
- Your Credits: view your monthly allocation of HubSpot Credits.
- Usage this month: view how many HubSpot Credits you’ve used so far this month.
- In the Manage credit use by feature section, you can also view a breakdown of the number of credits used by Breeze Intelligence and Breeze Customer Agent.
- Click the external link icon next to Breeze Intelligence and Breeze Customer Agent to view the settings for each feature and pause its usage if necessary.
- Historical usage: view your HubSpot Credits usage over a given time period. Use the Date range dropdown menu in the top left of Historical usage to filter the data to a specific time range.
- Usage log: view a detailed log of your HubSpot Credits usage over a given time period. This log includes details, such as the type of action that used credits, how many credits each action used, and how many times the action was performed.
