Release schedule

Hey, I'm wondering if there is a release schedule that we can follow?
Otherwise if there is non, would it be possible to make a new release including this fix (#2433). Not sure if it qualifies for a patch release.

There is no release schedule, but from looking at the changes that have landed since v1.2.0, I think we are due for a v1.3.0. I've opened #2454 to try to get the process started.
